Yarn Bombing at ❤️ THE BRIDGE brought joy and vibrancy to the precinct through art, colour and the celebration of community.
Community is central to everything we do at the Bridge Mall Trading Association, and we are so grateful for the Ballarat community’s involvement in this project. The five winning entries will see $1,000 donated to nominated charities at a crucial time.
Through the Yarn Bombing project, we were able to celebrate everything that we love, including our furry friends from the Woolley Waggers Fashion Parade. We also appreciate the support of our traders, customers, family and friends who participated in our fashion parade and volunteered at the event.
We would also like to acknowledge our fabulous judge’s Councillor Belinda Coats, Geordi Norton – Ballarat Radio and Paula Nicholson, Ballarat Evolve.
We hope that our community will continue to add to the Yarn Bombing over the winter to extend this wonderful expression of support for ❤️ THE BRIDGE.
